24 + 0.99 = 24.99

24 hours from now I will be 25 years old. That’s like quarter of a century already! Dana, katwa, haha.

And just like last year, I won’t be able to freely celebrate because I am swamped with school stuff. The only difference is that last year, I was struggling to keep up with my academic workload. This time, I’m actually struggling to maintain an impressive standing. My stress level tonight (and in the coming days) is just the same as last year’s, and yet my targets are worlds apart. What a difference a year makes! Haha!

My mind is actually in disarray right now that’s why even if I want to write an introspection, I’m unable to. Let’s try to unclutter with these random updates:

*I want a new pair of rubber shoes so that I can be totally inspired to jog during the Christmas holidays. I don’t want a repeat of last year’s 18-pound holiday weigh gain!

*I’m going to definitely miss Glee. It will be on a break until April 13, 2010. The fall finale was such a blast though.

*I received a medal last Monday for being a Dean’s Lister and the feeling was surreal. It was a great feeling though. It’s just that the pride I felt for my achievement was like something I was feeling for the first time and yet I know that I’ve felt this way before. I guess, it’s just because it been such a long time, haha!

*I have a new sideline! I’m a LoadXtreme retailer. All kinds of load are available -- Globe, Sun, Sun Broadband, Smart, SmartBro, Talk'N'Text, TM, PLDT, Internet Card load, Online Games and many more. I don’t earn a lot since my ‘customer market’ is just my circle friends and classmates. Most of them are even delayed in payment because most of the time they’d asked to be loaded in the middle of the night while. Haha! But nevertheless, what I get to earn is actually more rewarding than it seems given how I don’t really exert much effort in this kind of business.

Despite the fact that I’m going to be swamped on my birthday, I’m still looking forward to it. Well, who wouldn’t, right? Haha. But it’s not because I will have a party or some sort of a huge celebration (I won’t). I just love owning my special day every year. And I don’t mind being older either. I’m not really dreaming of a birthday extravaganza. I just want it to be meaningful and sentimental.

Oh, by the way, this will be my first birthday in the era of Facebook. Sana kayanin ng powers ko ang lahat ng babati sa wall ko! Haha!
