Seven Things

1) No matter how hard you try to make up for your past mistakes, they will still haunt you one way or another.

2) I still miss our dog Cooper. Realizing how unruly and naughty Haley and Penny are makes me miss Cooper more.

3) One of the worst pet peeves I have is whenever someone whines over spilled milk. An offshoot is someone who complains and complains even as he or she is not the one who bears the brunt of the problem. Often, they complain more than the people who actually try to solve the problem. That is such a politician thing, right?

4) I’m about to end my “college student” era and start a new one as a “worker”. Walking around Makati earlier today and seeing all these people around me all dressed up in fancy work clothes reminded me of how excited I am.

5) My major, major mistakes and what I did to correct them (in my 26 years of life, Sir, haha) are part of who I am. I recognize that I shouldn’t have made them in the first place, but since I already did, might as well make the most out of them.

6) Jealousy makes one’s insecurities throb in your consciousness more than they should.

7) I subscribe to the school of thought that actions speak louder than words. Thus, I don’t think I have to prove myself anymore, given that what I do is more than ample. And so, if I have to try so hard to prove my worth to somebody or to own my rightful place, I don’t think it’s actually worth it. It’s not my fault if you can’t see it.
